TLS (Transport Layer Security) Version Upgrade

We’ve recently made an upgrade to our app that affects your data feed integration with the LIftopia Guest Report and Season Pass Report and requires your immediate attention. Please see below for details:

What changed?
As of July 14, 2017, we no longer support accessing the guest report service via TLS 1.0 or TLS 3.0. For more general information on TLS (Transport Layer Security), this blog post provides some good information.

Why did this change occur?
The change to support only TLS 1.1 and TLS 1.2 was made as part of our ongoing work to make sure we are fully PCI compliant. For information on why TLS 1.0 is no longer PCI compliant, you can read this article.

What should I do?
To maintain your Guest Report data feed connection, you will need to connect using either TLS 1.1 or TLS 1.2.

Anything else?
There’s one more update which we’d like you to make. Currently, all data feed calls reference an outdated URL and redirect to the new URL. While the redirect will always work, we’d prefer that you reference the most up-to-date URL. Please update the URL that your integrations are using.
Outdated URL: https://www.liftopia.com/x/reports/guests.php?PartnerId=
Updated URL: https://extranet.liftopia.com/x/reports/guests.php?PartnerId=

If you’d like to learn more about programmatic access to the Guest Report, please reach out to your Partner Services Specialist or email us at partnerservices@liftopia.com.

Thanks and we’re looking forward to a great winter with you.
