Some of it is stuff you can see, and some of it is behind the scenes. Some of it you might just not have noticed, but it’s all carefully designed and implemented to increase conversion on the platform. That’s why we’re kicking off “The Change Logs” to give insight into what has changed across our platform and product over the past quarter.
TLDR; Lots! 🙂
But, of course, we’re going to share the details of what our product and engineering has been up to and what you can expect from new features and changes. A few of the features we’ve rolled out we’ve talked about plenty already (Group Tickets and Time Slots) so we’ll focus on those that haven’t gotten the attention they deserve.
Cloud Store Search Filters
After customers complete a dated-search on Cloud Store, they can easily use filters to further narrow search results. This helps customers navigate more quickly to the product they want.

PayPal
To make it even easier to checkout, we recently added PayPal as a payment method to give customers a fast and easy way to buy their tickets and passes online. Quick checkouts mean happy customers and more revenue to you.

Pricing API
Liftopia’s Pricing API gives partners access to Liftopia’s proprietary pricing model and dataset to help grow pre-sales with a high return on marketing spend in any e-commerce environment. Via our new Pricing API, Liftopia provides available product inventory and pricing to a partner for use in the e-commerce system of their choosing.

Strong Customer Authentication (SCA)
New requirements for authenticating online payments have been introduced in Europe as part of the second Payment Services Directive (PSD2). The goal of Strong Customer Authentication (SCA) is to reduce fraud and make online payments more secure. To accept payments and meet SCA requirements, Liftopia added additional authentication into our checkout flow.

Add-Ons
Add-on functionality allows customers to add-on a product “extra” (such as a seasonal locker or parking spot) to a product they’ve already selected. For example, after selecting your ski area’s season pass, customers could add a season-long gear rental, or something else you’ve made available.

Hard Cap Messaging
For products with strictly limited inventory (e.g. cabanas, golf tee times, marina buoys, tubing, anything that has physical capacity), we’ve improved the purchase path and messaging that customers encounter if a product is purchased by another customer prior to their completion.

Default Language Settings
If English is not the primary language for your Cloud Store, we can adjust the settings so that your store defaults to your language of choice. For example, if you navigate to https://www.valcenis.ski/ (located in France), you’ll notice the language is already set to French without needing to link to a special `/fr` URL.
