Liftopia, the leading provider of dynamic pricing and e-commerce solutions for ski areas, has recently announced a key integration partner: SwissPass. SwissPass provides card holders with access to public transportation and many other partner services in Switzerland. Liftopia’s new integration with SwissPass will allow all SwissPass card holders in Switzerland the ability to load ski lift tickets directly to their card via Cloud Store.
“Switzerland is very strong in public transport and many travel passes are electronically loaded on a personalized SwissPass that customers have with them all the time,” says Christian Wysrch, Sales Manager at Arosa Lenzerheide. “Now that customers can use the SwissPass on our Cloud Store, it saves them a lot of time since they can skip our cash desk, and also have the comfort of a personalized card.”
As a huge percentage of Swiss residents use a SwissPass for rail transport and other travel offers, integration with Liftopia makes it even simpler for customers to purchase ski tickets from Liftopia’s partners in Switzerland. Cloud Store, Liftopia’s full-service e-commerce platform, is currently used by multiple partners in Switzerland including: Arosa Lenzerheide, Crans Montana, and Anzère.
“This is a great step as we broaden our integration partnerships,” says Liftopia CEO, Evan Reece. “Whether for Pricing as a Service to empower dynamic pricing in other e-commerce platforms, or to smooth redemption into other systems, our APIs and ability to work with APIs of others mean we are creating more opportunities for our partners.”
Liftopia already has direct to lift integrations with SkiData and TeamAxess.
