Liftopia announces a new partnership with RootRez, a Park City-based travel and technology company. This partnership marries two best-in-class platforms; Cloud Store, Liftopia’s full-service ticketing e-commerce platform, and Root Rez’s industry-leading white-label booking engine. Using Liftopia’s latest APIs, we’re able to offer a hotel and lift ticket packaging option for resorts that want to sell bundled packages. Resort partners using Cloud Store can now seamlessly offer dynamically priced lift ticket inventory packaged with lodging, better serving customers who are looking for both lodging and lift tickets. Instead of revenue managing separate sets of inventory for standalone ticketing and lodging packages, Root Rez’s technology pulls directly from your dynamically priced inventory pool on Cloud Store. Instead of “one-system” that doesn’t really do everything it promised to, this partnership lets you have the best of both worlds in ticketing and lodging.

You can load your own hotel inventory utilizing a number of connectivity options. Or, if your resort or attraction doesn’t already own or partner with local lodging, RootRez can acquire hotel inventory from lodging partners in your area on your behalf. And, you can still control the assortment you think will appeal most to your customers.
