3 Ways to Give Your Customers an Easy Season Pass Shopping Experience

We can’t believe it either, but season pass sales for the 2020/2021 will be here before you know it. Your loyal season pass customers deserve an easy shopping experience. We’ve outlined three key points to think about when setting up your season pass sale for next season to keep your favorite customers happy.

Don’t Require Your Customers to Log-In to an Account

It’s likely been an entire year since your customers logged in to buy their season pass last year, and there’s a good chance they don’t remember their username or password. There is nothing more frustrating than the endless cycle that can become a “I forgot my password” link. Maybe it’s just me, but I hate signing in. I think I know what you’re thinking now. But Kathryn, my customers save their personal information or photo in their account and want to use it again. That’s fine, just don’t REQUIRE an account to buy. There’s something in it for you too, since the fewer hurdles the customer has to get through, the more likely they are to make it to “Buy Now”.

Make Sure Mobile Browsing / Shopping is Simple

Customers need to be able to browse and shop on mobile. When selecting a partner to sell your season pass (or any product really!), make sure that it’s easy to type in personal and payment information on a mobile device, and that fonts are big enough to read on small screens. If you’re having trouble typing in information in a store you’re familiar with, chances are your customers will have trouble too.

Offer Payment Plans

Season passes can be expensive. Offering the option for your customers to pay in installments increases the likelihood of purchase for customers that may be on the fence for a big ticket item. Instead of paying the entire sum upfront, payment plans allow customers to submit their payments in smaller amounts spread over a schedule you can control.
